OOC~ Yes, join join
Nymin gave a shocked little start. "And how do you say that? I don't even know what position you were in." The ebony wolf drew a small lip, nerves more then anything, but still made no move to stop the murder. He was running down, growing more weary and tired.

[shadow=blue,left,300]He swerved his head around to face him again, just halfway. "You really want to know my position?" Ferine said, narrowing his eyes and growling out the syllables. Without awaiting a response, he continued, "You have no idea what it's like. Going hungry, famished, starving for 6 months- sometimes even a year at most- and having to continue walking and trying to survive as best as you can even in the worst conditions, sometimes even resorting too eating the soil beneath your own paws. It's a sad, miserable fate...
"And then one day, having to come across some shape lying in the snow, unmoving. Dead and fresh from the kill. No, it wasn't even a kill. It was a natural cause. But I digress, I continue, Having finding such a thing like that, going to rot away sooner or later, and your stomach empty and your mind swirling from the dizziness, death having to shadow over you as well."
He paused to catch a few breaths and blink his eyes to let the impact sink in the ebony. He didn't have a clue. He'd never know exactly how he felt. No one knew.
"Would you ignore such a fine thing, given too you?" He questioned. "Wondering if there were truly a God, and he was going to feed you. Only, he was going to feed you with a price. You must devour your own kin."
He shivered, and blinked hard to chase away tiny little droplets of waters that had begun to form.
"Wouldn't you take the risk? Even if this God was malicious to you in everyway, and wanted to feed you to keep you healthy and strong, just to continue tormenting you, spitting on you, and kicking you, just for his own amusement."
He paused again. Suddenly, in a voice unnatural to his own, some tone of respect and pride, and yet of sorrow that clung to his heart, he ended his story with, "I am God's play thing." [/shadow]

Nymin listened to this wolf's abhorrent speech, flipping his ears up when h seemed to be finished. In case of more words to come, he stayed silent, mulling it over. This wolf before him, a murder, a wander, seemed to be having some thoughts of remorse. Could it all be a lie, or was this varg indeed in a tough rut, as he said.
Nymin was not a religious wolf. He believed in the pack, and that was all. "You can't always blame a god." he said, ears swiveling to the back of his head. A tongue lolled inside his mouth, framing his teeth in thought and wait. It was a cover up for a smile that threatened his features.

[shadow=blue,left,300]"Can't always blame God?" His auds swiveled. He noticed the other wolf's black lips cover his canine's in an odd way, but he took no notice of it. "I realize that, but what if God is to blame? What then?"
Darling, you sound like a crazed maniac. You really don't think this wolf is going to believe such a story? No matter how real you might think of it?
It's the only reason I can come up with, after all these years. My life is a shame.
So it is, darling. But can't you just blame yourself?
It's not my fault!
He chased away the voice in his head when his eyes caught another. He raised his cranium to see a female lurking about, behind a frozen log.
Great, more company. His own thoughts said sarcastically. [/shadow]

"Yes. And what if there is no god?" Nymin said, raising his voice slightly. Religious wolves never made any sense to him. Not when they started preaching and talking of their gods. Not when they treated him with scornful looks when the ebony couldn't understand.
He too turned, seeing the murder take notice of something, and an odd smile lit his eyes. Here was a true member of this pack. These were her lands; she would tell them if this wolf was an old member or not. A deserter, a fraud, or otherwise.
Nymin smiled slightly, not remembering her name for now -it would come to him!- and then blinked. Technically, he shouldn't be here either.

[shadow=blue,left,300]"If there is no God, I will not deny it. In truth, I am slightly hoping there is none." he nodded. "But, until then, I have someone to blame. If not a God, then it is Lady Fate that chooses to throw me around like a Human pups doll."[/shadow]

Nymin nodded, not following his logic, but also wishing to make no more conflict. A smile, unsure of itself at first, began to curl the corners of his mouth. His sullen eyes bluged just slightly as he tried to hold it in. "...Did, eh--you really eat dirt?" All was not forgotten, nore was it forgiven, but seeing this wolf now, religious, maybe slightly silly, morbid, gave Nymin a rock to stand on.

[shadow=blue,left,300]Ferine let his left eye give a firm twitch at the ebony's question. He could hear the silent laughing, or at least just picture the brute chuckling at his misfortune. "You think it's funny?" he pondered, his voice deep and malicious.[/shadow]

"No." he lied. "Not at all." Nymin held in one last chuckle, then made a face. this one before him and no sense of humor at all, and that was no way to live. His face went hard once more, tail waving behind him slowly.

[shadow=blue,left,300]His face hardened, a sharp frown outlining his maw. "Hm." He looked around for a moment, his eyes the only moving things on his body. "This is a bore." he sighed, and shook his fur to ease his nerves. "I suppose you're still going to bother me, right?"[/shadow]

Nymin lifted his head slightly back, so he was watching the other wolf from over his nose. He grew more confident that he was in the clear, no longer under threat from attack. No need to get annoying, though...he didn't mean to be. "Bother you? No, I don't think so. Keep an eye on, maybe."

Fireheart saw that up ahead two wolves were talking together. "This way."He said as he walked towards the wolves. "Are you sure this is-" Sandstorm's voice trailed off and all of them gasped as they saw the wolves. Graystripe thought off the odds of winning if they got into a fight. They would lose, or die, for that matter. They finally saw the wolves, then they said: "Hello. I'm fireheart. " Fireheart said calmly. "Hello! I'm graystripe!" Graystripe said excitedly. "Hello... I'm sandstorm..." Sandstorm said shyly.

[shadow=blue,left,300]"Hm. Same thing." he rolled his eyes, and then looked off somewhere, auds perked at a sudden noise. He ignored it. "Might as well exchange names since it's so necessary for you to follow. I am-" he suddenly cut off, body swirling around, black lips raised into a snarl at the noise-closer this time. Only to realize his mistake as his nose caught the scent of some kittens, and they appeared before them. "Hmph." he raised himself high, barely looking at the three kits. What a great day he was having. First, an annoying brute, and now, three little brats. Wonderful. Ferine turned his gaze to the ebony as the three finished their names, and he grunted in a sort of mockery. "Ferine." he mumbled, snorting.[/shadow]

"Hi ferine. We can go if you want, sorry if we're annoying you or anything like that..." Fireheart said as he noticed ferine probbly hadn't had a good day.
